This paper mache' figure measures 18″ in height by 15″ in width by 12″ in depth. Layered and shaped by hand over a wire frame, it can take 12-18 months to complete, depending on the size of the piece.
Fine details of the facial features are achieved by shaping by hand and the use of assorted implements. Cotton robing is edge rolled and hand stitched.
Cover page features a close up of facial details.

AND....WORKING ON IT
Summer's Cap
Outline layer of Summer's cap. I added watercolor for base shadow loosely. Initial detail developed in the first layer. The second layer continued with firmer detail. The third and final layer is in process.
Jordan's Baseball Cap
Jordan's hat has a second layer completed and I have begun the final layer for this drawing. I have drawn this hat numerous times in various positions and views.
Cherub Playing Flute
This little figure is drawn in silverpoint and ink on wood. It is one of a few pieces I have chosen to complete in the coming months
